Dr. Barbara Ann Carey
(PT, DPT, Physio Coach)
Barbara Ann Carey, PT, DPT is a board-certified physical therapist who enjoys working with a diverse set of patients, ranging from recreational athletes to those that compete at the collegiate level. She caters her treatment plans to each patient, focusing on functional movement patterns and daily activity-related movements to optimize recovery time and progress patients toward their long-term goals.
Barbara Ann’s clinical interests include shoulder, back and lower extremity injuries of the hip, knee, and ankle in all types of athletes with a special interest in tennis. She leverages her experience as a Division I athlete to build comprehensive rehabilitation programs, based on the strength and conditioning principles she learned as an athlete, as well as to develop a personal connection with her patients.
Barbara Ann received her undergraduate degree from Seattle University, where she was captain of the tennis team. Since receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University in Atlanta, she has enjoyed establishing herself as a resource within Seattle’s tennis community and helping so many of her patients through their athletic journey.

Barbara Ann is a native of Seattle and a health and fitness enthusiast. She loves to spend her weekends staying active by playing tennis, cycling, golfing, skiing and long-distance running.
